Does it really matter what type of sponge i use for makeup applications?

I want to get some MAC makeup. I was looking through their website for products today (i've never tried MAC makeup before) and i'm wondering does it really matter what type of sponge i use for makeup applications? I know some sponges are used for different things, but would it really make a difference to me? Please help! and thanks for responding if you do =)Does it really matter what type of sponge i use for makeup applications?
Please don't use a sponge unless you plan on washing them out really good after each use because bacteria can get in the sponges fast and then you end up applying that to your face .....I really recommend using a Foundation Brush or whatever product you are applying use a Brush ...the coverage is better....you do not waste as much product by using a brush ....because so much of your product gets left on the sponge......I use to use a sponge until I read a article about bacteria and wasting alot of product and I switched to a foundation brush and I LOVE it. It goes on so much smoother and it is just all around the way to go......

Hope this is helpful ~~~

If you watch most professionals apply makeup ....they are using brushes ....I really think you would be happy with them ....

Good Luck ~~Does it really matter what type of sponge i use for makeup applications?
I don't think it matters like they want you to think.

You could even survive mineral powder without a brush.

Just think for yourself, that's all we need to do.
lol... no, not really.

just as long as its the shape you want it, the right size, and not absorbent, you should be fine.
it does not matter about the sponge you use,it matters about the makeup.
go to the closest drugstore and buy a pack of cosmetic wedges. They work the best!
yes.
Are you seriously asking this question?
