You could try buying her a good make up book with tips in it for her to create her own individual look or go to the library and take out some books or why not have a girly evening where you make her up eg: jordan and any other celeb looks and let her do your make up and why your doing her make up tell her what your doing and freely give her advice

You never know. She might take your advice if she likes your application. But there's lots of videos on youtube.com for makeup application. The mags I know of for young girls, is Jane, Marie Claire, Seventeen... YM(not sure if this is still around. It was wen I was a teen. LOL).

Youtube has some great tutorials. You can also try the teen magazine Seventeen. At age 14, don't let her get into heavy stuff. Have her keep it soft and neutral. So many girls are growing up so fast and having a young girl wearing heavy makeup says ';ho'; to me. Girls have a natural beauty at that age...show her how to enhance that, not cover it up to be something else.

this is a fantastic site. to see the makeup tips go to diary and read the make up tips. i have such fun looking at the diary and other parts of the website. all their makeup is under 拢3 and it is really good. but if you are in america-just check out the site. all the tips can be done with any makeup.
