Seems to me that it would depend a lot on where you are. If it's a generally conservative area, try googling for ';gay-friendly salons'; and the name of your city. (Note that it doesn't matter if you are gay in this case, but gay-friendly establishments are a lot more likely to be unfazed by a dude asking for makeup.) If it's a generally liberal area and you're feeling brazen, just go ahead and make an appointment and see what happens. Bring a friend if you're nervous.Salon etiquette? i think if your a guy and your confident it shouldn't matter to you what other people think and also if you think of it this way if you go to a place in the mall you might not ever see them again =)
i think the only makeup a guy need really is maybe powder for shine on the face maybe a good shave and brow grooming maybe some moisture treatments.
