Short of the obvious (cosmotology school) what are some good books, sources to learn makeup application??Books/magizines %26amp; ways to learn makeup application?
All of Kevyn Aucoin's books are amazing. My favorite is ';Face Forward';. He goes over absolutely everything. Lots of different kinds of looks too :) It's very diverse.

Trial and error darling! Experimentation is a must to find your makeup style. However, if you want a quicker way to learn there are little punch-out cards/inserts inside of Allure magazine that tell how to do makeup, hair, nails, skin...everything!
